How did you get to where you are now?

I got a Pentax K1000 fort my 14th birthday in 1982, it came with a nook on film photography. I read the book and started shooting. The business side didn't come until much later, photography was a hobby for quite a long time until I got tired of being asked to shoot and giving everything away.
