Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I was told I could embed my name or any info I want in the digital image with Lightroom. Even if someone chnages my title to the file, my name stays with the image. Is that true? If so, how do I do it? (I have LR 3)

Thanks

It can be done using Bridge, PhotoMe.de, Lightroom, Aperture, and many other applications too.

It's known as International Press Telecommunications Council data - International Press Telecommunications Council - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A method that is a lot quicker, and much more in depth than getting snippets of information from an online forum, is to have good reference materials close at hand - Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers

There is lots more to be learned about how to use Lightroom's Library module to your advantage. Wonder why the Library module is the first one.

Open Lightroom.
Click on Library > Metadata > Edit Metadate Presets.

Thanks Keith

I tried adding my name with LR 3 with the metadata. When I looked at the properties for the file with Windows my name did not show up. Does metadata info show up that way? Or is it only visible with photo software?

Many, if not all DSLRs will place a comment in the EXIF; I use it for copyright note (year & name).
