How do I reduce size of pic?

I'd like to know how I can reduce the size of a pic that I want to post, I have used a "Samsung" digital which one of the members kindly sent to me a while ago. I took some pics and tried to upload them and the message was "pic too large" how do I reduce the size of the pic to post it?

I don't know, I just know that the camera is Samsung digital, are you talking about the PC software, or the software inside the camera?

There is an app you use to view the images. Which app you use will dictate what steps you take to reduce the size.

I bet it said the image file was to large.
The image file needs to be no more than about 2 Mb.

The size of the picture and the size of the file are 2 different things.
The file size can be reduced while not making the image smaller.

He's talking about software outside of the camera.
Threr are many softwatre applications for managing/editing digital photographs that can be downloded off the internet for free.
I recommend Photoscape.org.
