sorry, I meant into a gallery, not a thread, I see these really nice pics in the gallery section, but have no idea how to get there. Is that a paid asspect here?

On the top menu bar, select Forum. Scroll down to the Galleries section, pick your gallery, start a new thread and upload.

There is a sticky in the Beginners Forum that explains how to upload a photo. Also read the rules of the forum before posting.
