How good is the 70-300mm 4.56l is usm lens for motox?

Just wondering how good that lens is for motox? I have used a 70-300mm before but it was only the cheaper one.

I have one and couldn't be happier with it. It will work if that is all you have. It will give you f4 from 70-100mm.

For a dedicated Moto lens, I go with a version of the EF 70-200mm f2.8 L.

It's a good lens. But you'd be better off with a 70-200 2.8 if you can. Rent both and compare them side by side on a shooting day and see what you think.

It's a good lens but I would personally suggest a Yamaha YZ450f for motox.
