How to clean lens ? Plz assist a newbie --

I usualy keep a UV filter on every one of my lenses, that way it's the filter that gets the dust and not the lense. I often use very mild cleaning sollution on the filters. My glasses cost about 1000$ and so I never use anything I wouldn't use on them... Once in a while I use pressurized air to blow dust of lenses, but that's abut all I have to do to keep them clean...

I use a polarizer on my wideangle lense, it serves several uses. As a polarizer and as a dust guard for my lense.

I routinely wipe my lenses with my shirt tail...and I never use a filter. Of course, I know I should, but I always end up appropriating the funds toward a new toy instead! At home, I clean with eclipse fluid and pec pads!
