how to get a whole picture clear?

i would increase the iso as well..i personally use autofocus if i cant see. if there is enough light and the subject is quite large i manually focus. The setting on my camera that i usually shoot in is AV with that i control the depth of field and i let the camera configure the shutter speed. good luck i think you just need to play around with the camera and setting.
