How to PP RAW

I usually shoot wildlife and I know that a sensor can't do justice to colours. I shoot both in RAW and Jpeg, but I have no knowledge when it comes to PP RAW images. I understand that this question has been asked too many times, so just a link with some helpful info would be appreciated.

Here an example of one of my shot where I feel that the colour doesn't POP.

You have asked such a broad question that its really hard to tell you what to look for. We don't know what your editing program is to even start here. LightRoom and Adobe Camera Raw are the usual. You can find tins if tutorials on YouTube by searching out their name.

Right, I'm sorry.
I have GIMP on my laptop. Watching videos on You Tube is not an option as I currently live in Ghana. The Internet connection here is ......

GIMP can't PP Raw files. Software that came with your not mentioned camera should be able to do Raw PP.

Laptops generally suck for doing image editing, because the screen is often a TN type display that has narrow accurate color viewing angles.

You can work with raw files with GIMP if you install the UFRAW plug-in.
