Photos NOT OK to edit
Well the motorcycle Clive want to use a image of mine for a banner. I did it ages ago and my computer crashed and I lost most of the files. I still have the JPEG copy but the size is to small for the banner :/

I need to go look at or as I'm not infront of the computer.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you are asking or if you are asking anything at all.
Are you looking for advice on resizing? I use onOne Perfect Resize (it is part of their "Perfect Photo Suite") and have had good results - but that depends on how many pixels you have in the original and how big you want to resize.
Also a banner will probably be able to be printed at a much lower resolution than say an A4 print.
You may be able to print at 120dpi - 150dpi which means you won't need as many pixels in the file (than if you had to print at 300dpi)

I have used Lightroom for increasing the size of a 4000X1000 panaroma to 8000X2000, pretty sure it can handle way way more than that!!

Having said that, there will it's practical limits but remember what Aceco55 said:
