How to use text with actions for watermark?

I know this has been mentioned before in some thread but I can't find it anymore but anyway I need help with the following:

I would like to create an action to watermark all my images (both landscape and portrait format).

Besides many commands (resizing, layer effects, adding guides and aligning objects) which work fine I have a big problem adding text that should "fit" every time.

Specifically the problem is, that all size relevant commands (re-sizing etc.) is done using percentage but I can't find a way to adjust the font size to the required size when applying the actions to differently sized images not to mention landscape and portrait.

As an example: If I create the action for my 12MP images and I re-apply the same action on a 6MP crop or image then the font is too big.
