TPF Noob!
Just discovered this site while googling for some info, figured I'd drop in and stay a spell.
I've been interested in photography, to various degrees, for over 25 years. While I like and appreciate the convenience and photo quality that my DSLR can produce, I'm still a fan of the old stuff. My two all-time favorite cameras are the Original Canon F-1 and the Nikon F2, but there are several more that I like almost as much.
I've done work as a photojournalist and motorsports photographer. I've done portraits, landscapes, scenics, etc. Built up a stock library of some 4,000+ images from which I occasionally make a sale. Gotta work a bit harder at that, I guess.
Currently, apart from just trying to make time to get out and shoot more photographs, I'm in the process of archiving my slides and negatives to DVD. It's a slow process, but it'll be worth it when I've finished.
