Just made my first few posts so I thought you all should know who I am.
I got my first camera when I was 12 and have been hooked since then. I was a staff photographer for my high school paper and yearbook back in the late 60's. After that I got an AA degree in photography from a local college. I have never made my living off of photography but have made good supplemental income from weddings, portraits and landscapes.

I look forward to posting some pictures. Being new to the digital side of photography I don't have a film scanner yet. I need one that can scan up to 4x5 negatives. The only ones I've seen for that size are very pricey unless I go with a flatbed. Do the flatbeds produce good quality scans? Any suggestions?
