Heavily post-processed as they were a slight bit underexposed. OTE.

there isnt enough light on the subject, it's making his colors a bit dull. the bright and colorful background is definitally overpowering this poor little guy!

Unfortunately he looked like a silhouette in the original. That was about as good as I could do to make him visible at all. Next time I need to set the camera on manual. :er:

They're hard to catch, and so tiny, it's easy for them to get overwhelmed in any picture. The more you can zoom in on them, minimize the background, the better chance of catching their vibrant colors.

Very territorial, aggressive little guys around the feeder.....one of my favorite birds!
