Humming Birds

Weather here has been terrible, raining and cold, but i put the feeder out anyways..and low and behold a few humming birds have showed up..too bad i haven't had a nice night to take some better pics, but have managed to take a few..all unedited

The biggest problem with photographing hummingbirds at feeders are the feeders. The first one you can fake with a crop, but the other two...

I'm just not a big fan of feeders in the shot, i guess. It's like admitting you're cheating.

I agree with the feeder issue. That's something I'm trying to deal with right now. The first one would be better if the wings were frozen so you could see them clearly. Either a faster shutter speed, or a flash unit. It's tough to freeze the wings when they beat at 5,000,000 times a second, but that's the fun of it.
