I actually got up for the sunrise

    Well the almanac said sunrise of 5:45am. So I got up on Saturday at 5am. I was standing around for about 45 mins waiting for the sun to peek over the hill... oh well...

    The top one must be the first one you took - it still has so much blue in the shadows, it really gives the feel of a dawn. Very nice. :D

    The sun rises??? I thought it just hopped right up into the middle of the sky! Nice shots btw!

    On my days off I'm usually up at the cracl of noon, maybe that's why I miss these types of shots. That and the fact that we don't have cactus around these parts! :)

    Great shots Voodo :) I've been "threatening" to get up for a sunrise, but I'm too lazy. The only ones I catch are the ones when I'm still up from the night before :p

    You take really good pictures. I enjoyed those shoots. Makes me long to go south again and visit the deserts.

    Glad someone is taking pictures of the sunrise because I'm sure not going to see it :) Great lighting!
