I am disgusted!

Ok so checking my gmail 2 seconds ago , and I don't usually get any spam, so when I saw (shock horror) 1 spam message I popped over to look at it, It was a failed delivery notification.
Someone had used my email address as their cover to send out porn spam!!!
Grrrrrrr!!!
Here's the message that got bounced back.

From: "Lynda Dougherty" <[email protected]>
Subject: I love tanning! :-X
Hey !). Come in side, Meet me here. N0-fee. Julie,

I am not happy! :grumpy:

Ok so the few email addy's that she sent it to got bounced back, but think of all the hundreds and millions of other people who actually received the email and saw my address, and think of the number of them who are spam kings and queens and who are gonna steal my addy now. :grumpy:

Ah well, no big deal.
Just felt like a whinge.

Hey meysha ... I used to get a load on my old BT accound uintil I closed it. But now I have the webswite the damn robots and speders of the search engines pick up the email addresses really quick .... I tend to just block sender on the server regually but a few slip through .... on one account I had (it was a forwarding one I used to have with a football club) the spammer used to send virii with it. luckily this hasn't ahppened with my new ones .....

Oh well there is still time.

The good thing though, Meysha...Gmail ROCKS when it comes to filtering spam. I get a very large amount of spam to my gmail, but very rarely does it get in my inbox. I enter sweepstakes sometimes (at a sweepstakes forum I'm on)...and they send tons of spam...so the other day, after I hadn't checked it in two days, I had 299 messages in my bulk mail!!!! And 9 in my inbox, none spam.
