You know those photo shoots where you feel absolutely useless as a photographer....THIS was one of those photo shoots. It was really hard to get Alliyah's attention as she was super involved in everything that she was doing and wanted nothing to do with me haha. I guess that's what happens when you're taking photos of a 2 1/2 year old!

BUT I did get some amazing shots (which made me feel much better) and just wanted to share a few with you guys here on the forum.

Thanks,

Joanna Wilcox

P.S. I apologize if this photo is too big!

So cute! I love them. What lighting did you use for the first one? Was it also natural lighting from the window?

I recently took a picture of a 2 year old....no laughing matter. Serious pain, but very nice captures...I love them as well, especially the 2nd one. Nice Captures.

IS that window light in the left pic? Amazing shutter speed for F4 !!
The iso sensitivity on that camera is great!

I guess iso 400 was the trick, still I get totally destroyed shooting kids if I shoot wide open, DOF is too small and if they even breathe I lose the eye focus...

I gotta start bumping up the iso like you do.

Masterful shot on the left !
