I am new :)

Hi folks,

I just joined the forum and love to give a bit intro of myself. I have been enjoying photography with my point-and-shoot until I felt all the limitation with the auto settings that it has. By taking advices from a pro photographer friend, I just move on to beginner dSLR user and has been enjoying it for a full 1 month! More to go ...

A little bit here:
My name is Johan Sie, 25 year old in San Francisco, California. I opt for the newer Nikon D60 body with a all-in-one Nikon 18-200mm to start with. I am open and very interested to learn more from both the amateurs and professionals on board... and welcome me :wink:

Some pictures I am took on my beginner path out of our balcony and in a local park ... enjoy.

Welcome to the group!

My favorite is your first image. I think it would have been excellent if you had your focus on that central daisy (the one to the viewer's right and behind the one that doesn't have visible petals), rather than the one that's a bit closer to the camera.
