Photos NOT OK to edit
Just thought that I would let everyone know what I decided on!

Any tips or tricks or ideas about this camera please let me know!!!

I am now a NIKONIAN!!!!

Enjoy your new camera!

Advice? Read the manual, brush up on exposure, composition... then head on out and shoot!

welcome to the dark side bwuahahahaha

Awesome, you're gonna love it.

Look up 'The Digital Field Guide', there's one for the D90 - I love those books.

Thanks all. Iguess it gets more expesive now with all the fun stuff to buy lol. Aka the darkside.
Hey that book u are talking about i liked at the boOk store the other day. I plan to get it soon.

Thanks and anyone know the best book for compositions?

When I get some shots I will put up a new thread!

Ok I will post some pics. Yall can talk about them but They are just me learning the camera. I am mostly just trying out with Shutter Priority and Aperture Pr. learning how everything works together.

did not have much to take pics of at work but what the hell!
I really dont think these are keepers just posting for the fun of it right now!

Trade it in for a Canon...

:lmao: j/k

My real advice: Learn to love RAW.

What are you bumping? As you said the photos don't look like keepers. The last one is way out of focus (camera shake most likely) and the others are way over flashed.

You are definitely on the right idea of sticking to aperture and shutter priority. Work in aperture priority the most and figure out how different apertures change your image....that will have the biggest impact on your photos (aside from exposure and composition).
