Hi everyone, I'm wondering if you can help me. I dropped my camera last night,:shock: from only the height of about a foot, but my flash snapped off at the hotshoe. ( Canon 580ex - Camera =10D ) The connecting points are all ok, but either side of that - is where is snapped, leaving 2 small pieces stuck in the hotshoe. I got these out, and it looks like I might be able to glue it all back together ok, but if not - can i buy a new attachment for it? Or is it now relegated to the life of a slave?? Thanks in advance! you **should** (im not very familiar at all with that flash) be able to order a new foot for it, and just replace the busted one, or a camera repair store could, shouldn't be too expensive...least i dunno why it would be, not really much to do
