I found a Cicada!

I was at a car show relaxing in the shade and I looked over at the tree next to me and saw a big bug hanging out on the side and went to investigate and sure enough, it was a Cicada!! I never seen one in person before, I hear them all the time but never see them.

Not sure why I keep finding bugs lately. Maybe they are just finding me...

When I was a kid, the older folks used to call them " jar flies ". I always associated them with summer. It seems you hear them during the hottest days.
