I have some really dumb questions about slide film. Help?

I want to try out some Ektachrome film but I want to make sure I know what to expect.
So, when you take the film to get developed, can you get prints along with slides and can you get them scanned into digital? Like, how does that all work?

Typically, you'll get mounted 2x2 transparencies back. Unless you specify you want prints & a CD.

Yep, just call ahead to the lab to be certain they offer these services, and to get an idea of price. But most labs are happy to do these kinds of things. You might want to get them on CD first and then pick only a few for prints before paying for the whole roll to be printed, but that's your call.
