Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
HI :D

I have two old lenses that my dad gave me from his old Canon T50 (which is a semi-automatic, no speed control). They are really good and I'd like to use them on a manual SLR without an adaptor ring.

Can anyone tell me how I might find out which cameras, new or old, would be a perfect fit?

The lenses are:

Canon Zoom Lens FD 28-85mm 1:4

Tou/Five Star MC Auto Mcro Zoom No.k8314430 1:45 75-200mm

The only camera bodies that Canon manual focus lenses will fit on are Canon manual focus bodies. About the closest to modern might be the Canon AE1 program.

...is not fully manual (which I need). :(

But the Canon T-90 is! So do you think that the lenses I have now will fit? They should right? I tried some research but I couldn't figure it out.

Sorry I'm kind of new to buying my own equipment.

I appreciate your helping me :)

I would suggest a Canon A1 over the T-90 at any time.

And if housevenice just wants a camera that will take pictures, with those nice lenses, may I add AE1 to the list. A good one with a nice 50mm can probably be found for $75. Works nice.

A1 and AE-1 program are better, but I'm just adding this for bottom line price.

The AE-1, AE-1 Program and A-1 are all full manual. They have program modes, but they also have full manual modes. The only old Canon to avoid would be the AV-1, which is aperture priority only (has no manual mode).

These are really great cameras because they're bulletproof, and very cheap.
