Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So I was at a family party and brought my camera so everyone wanted me to take pictures. I made one of the dumbest mistakes and didn't check to see what my iso was set to. Well, it turns out it was set to 6400... I lost so many pictures because of it. Luckily I saved a few pictures once they were run through Topaz DeNoise. I have included an example of a before and after as an example. I also included my favorite picture of the night.

For some reason the noise doesn't look so bad on here. It looks much worse on the actual file.

When I teach my students about ISO, I always tell them to think of what use the photos are for. If they are just family 'snapshots' etc., where they will likely only be printed small & stuck to the fridge...or end up on Facebook etc., then it's unlikely that too much noise will ruin the photos.

If you are a professional, on the other hand, and expected to hand over clean, high quality photos....then that's different.
