I Need Advice on Speedotron w/Novatron

Hi, I am looking for advice on studio power packs. I have an old Speedotron power supply that is reaching it's last leg. I have been using old (not sure how old on these, sorry) Novatron flash heads on it, this setup works fine. I am looking at new Speedotron power packs (DM1604) and wondering if my old Novatron heads will work with this new Speedotron pack? The tech rep I spoke to at Speedotron said he wouldn't recommend it because it will blow up my Novatrons, he says the wiring is different on the newer packs? Is he right or is he just trying to get me to buy Speedotron heads? Please, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
