I Phone RAW

I just upgraded from an I Phone 5C to an I Phone X, and was looking to get the most out of the camera. In researching the I Phone camera, I came across the ability to shoot RAW images. Does anyone do this? If so, is it worth it and can the images be processed in regular Lightroom or DXO Optics Pro? This may save be from taking a backup camera while traveling if I can get decent (not great) images.

My phone takes half decent jpegs with which I am happy with when needed....

I use ProCam app costs 5 dollars and allows to shoot in raw plus some other camer controls. While I do use it I just don’t like taking pictures with a phone. I don’t care for the feel or lack of lens options. But for $5 I can change shutter and have more control

What I do like is the watermark it places on any social media pics

Raw works fine on the iPhone. I use it when I’m shooting art photos using a couple different apps that give you more control. For quick snaps of things I just use the built in camera App and jpg.
