Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi there...
I am just starting out trying to get my wits about how to use my new Canon 60d and wanting to take fabulous pictures of my sweet boys!

I am trying to learn how to take that ultra desired breath taking picture.
You know the one with glossy eyes and a soft feel.
*What lens to use
*Lighting
*All that good stuff!!

Who knows maybe even secure myself a spot to forever work from home so I never ever miss a moment of their young lives!
That is my ultamate desire. Long shot but hey a girl can dream right? ;)

Soooooo... all you Canon users.... who take portraits of kids babies and such...(hint hint) I'd LOVE your input!! And thank you in advance!! :D

well, i'm no pro but most of my pics are of my baby. i find i get the best results with my canon 50mm 1.4. it's an awesome lens that lets you get in close and is sharp enough to crop in the picture if you shoot from a ways back.
i had the canon 50mm 1.8 before the 1.4, you can't beat it for $100.
my wife's secret is take thousands of shots and have that one incredible one.
on a side note, i'm about to move up to the Seattle area, so excited! unfortunately i'm very used to socal weather and am fearing the cold up there.
cheers,
jon

Thank you for the info Jon )
Seattle it great! Yes it does rain but it's so pretty here! Very green.

The 50 1.8 is an excellent cheap lens that is very sharp.

To get those photos that you want you'll also have to process them to make those eyes pop etc...
