Dan, I'm faced with the what do i charge issue all the time. I've been ragged and ragged about how little money i do work for and that it makes it harder for others to get work from out from under me. It's an issue that was never really touched upon in school. I've gone pretty much digital now for all of my graphic work and now I've had to increase what I charge (cuz electronic art materials are jsut as if not more expensive than the real stuff)...but the issue still remains should i charge by the hour or by the project. ALSO the article really proves a point outside of what he is trying to tell. Becareful cause you might end up teaching too...which is something i never want to do on a University or underclassman level...maybe private i could handle.
