Well, I have no friends, so I cannot do that

I think that shop had the simple policy to ask everyone for his ID so there was no chance anyone could ever blame the shop for anything.

I will let you know once I found out ... I have been experimenting with whiskey more recently, at first it did look promising, but then I realised that age reduction was only temporarily ... and then the next morning I felt much older than I actually am.

...a week ago I have been asked to show my ID again when buying beer....

That surely wasn´t in Germany...never seen anyone asked for ID. On the other hand...young people don´t get so out of control in public places here either.

(Been a few years since anyone asked for mine...and then it was in the US anyway)
