Hi, folkses.

Can anyone tell me the procedure to insert an image with a link into my signature? I tried using HTML code but only got the text in the Preview. I know it can be done; I've seen others on this board that have it.

This is the HTML I tried inserting:

<a href="http://www.smiledogproductions.com"><img src="http://www.smiledogproductions.com/HTMLobj-853/aniGif.gif" width="500" height="75"></a>

Looks good, but you'll need to reduce the size of the image to: 468X60 pixels max. Also, please reduce the size of the font in your signature. These guidelines are in place to make sure that signatures don't compete with images or replies posted here. Thanks for your understanding!

O.K., Ferny. Looking better now. Stupid of me not to think of BB code when the HTML failed; I have it on several other forums. Duh. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Alison, thanks to you, also. The font size is fixed but I believe the image is 600x90. I'll have to go back to my original images and re-do the animated .gif.

Alrighty, Alison. Replaced the original 600x90 image with a 400x60 image, although it appears to be the same size on-screen. Quirky Edit Signature screen; once I've previewed and go back to the Edit screen, the BB code for the image is no longer there, just the image. Also, can't figure out why everything is underlined and not just my text URL; I have no in the code.

But no matter; 'tis good 'nuff. Thanks again.
