Hey All,
I've been on the hunt for a graduated ND filter for the past few days, with no success. I'm going on vacation in a couple of days, and at this point, I'm not hopeful that I'll find one before I leave.
It occurred to me that I could just use a normal bracketed ND filter, high up in the bracket so that the bottom part of the filter would be at the horizon, and everything below the horizon would be unfiltered.
It almost seems too simple though. Has anyone used this improvisation technique before? Any foreseeable drawbacks?
