Impulse buy - is this any good

It sucks. It has a mind of it's own and won't allow you to meter properly.

I'm fed up with all the double talk and ***** footing around.
I wish someone would say what they meant!!!
:lmao:

Well the camera arrived, looks to be in very good condition, the lenses work in my camera, I just need to get some batteries and test it. Selena is chuffed with it so it looks like it was a bargain :)

I seem to recall that the Eos 5000 was only sold at Dixons (which would speak volumes - built to a price, undiscerning customers, etc), although the old memory could be failing me there. I had the 500, which was OK, but I traded it in against a Nikon FM2n because I didn't like all the plastic on the Canon. The lens mount in particular seemed pretty flimsy to me.
