In the Father's Arms

Hey all,
I'm a part of a local arts journal (http://plumb.ca). By the way, if there is anyone in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada that is interested, check out the site!
Anyways, the next issue theme is 'shadow'.
I came up with this idea and shot it against my wall on a kitchen chair.

I'm wondering:
1) Does it fit the theme?
2) How is the composition?
3) How is the lighting?

Any suggestions of what you would have done better?

Well I'm not very smart and couldn't give proper suggestions.. but I just wanted to say I think it's a nice shot, and I love how the shadow is so large. =)

i really like that and i cant tell why. I think it might be cause its so different yet still somehow conventional
