In the high desert!

Well here I am, in Victorville, California after a lovely 6hr drive through some of California's most boring scenery. Nothing but flat valley with scrub and cacti I'm donating my services to my ex-gf's daughter who's getting married this afternoon. Just knocked off a few frames of her getting her hair ready, now off to shoot the dress (ing) in a bit.

Never been out here before, my apologies to those that live in the high-desert but wtf are you doing out here???? Good news is I'll be taking the road back to the coast in the early am and hopefully getting in some decent landscapes along the long drive home!

Have fun! Deserts area as good a place as any to get some awesome pics. (I'd rather see a nice picture of one then be standing in one in the middle of the day) :lmao:

well the surrounding mountains have snow on them but it's 94* at my location.

Boy, that's actually a 6-hour-drive from where you are to where you photographed the wedding? Whoa.
But, indeed: it'd also be a 4-hour-drive from where you are to where my daughter now lives...!
