Hiya GhettoPanda, I moved your thread to the General Gallery since it does not quite comply with the GUIDELINES for Photo Critique.

As to "general critique" I must say that I like each and every one of these three, lovely background colour ( ), sharpness good, subjects interesting!

they are all nice and sharp.
i like nr2 best because of the composition
nr1 would maby work better if you flip it 90.. but its very nice and sharp.
i think nr3 have a bit too noisy background.

i dont know if you did much in ps with these, but i think you could push the levels a bit further.

With PS all i do is crop, up the saturation a little and exposure and sharpen.

What equipment did you use on these, as far as cameras and lenses go?

Nikon D50 with Tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6.
Fingers crossed i should have s D80 plus a couple of lenses and a few extras by the end of this week or the week after.

Nice shots!

I WAS going to go outside in a few minutes, but maybe now I'll just stay home...nice house...no bugsies can get us.

That is a serious-looking spider.

If you haven't tried it yet, try some spider shots at night, with flash. The webs nearly glow in the dark. If it isn't windy, try another shot with a looong shutter speed, natural light at nigttime.

I think the spider is maybe cropped a little to tightly, especially on the right side.
