Photos NOT OK to edit
Walking around campus today for some practice with the 85mm, I noticed a man staring at a recent art-installation here on campus.

Comprised of many large-print portraits, the installation is called "Davis Inside Out."
It's been progressively falling apart over the past few days, subject to weather and vandalism.

I approached the man, and asked his name. "Ronald"

"It's an interesting piece, isn't it?" I asked, referring to the collection of portraits.

Looking again at the ripped and peeling photos, he replied:

"In its current state, yes."

Shot at f/8 to bring the portraits semi into focus, so as to evidence the decay. Let me know if that seems like a good choice versus just taking it at f/2 and creamifying the background. I felt the photo needed context, a story.

Nicely captured; even though I suspect the colour/WB is quite accurate, I would be tempted to reduce the blue in the portraits at least somewhat.

I too think f8 was a good choice to give context. Although just out of curiosity and comparison and to see the results from your new lens did you take one at f2 or similar?

Oh and what John said. :)

I'd be curious to see this in B&W. the color on the bag is distracting.
