I can dig that. Nice centering of the bear. Think this would work on an entire yard of lights?

how exactly do you do that? I've been trying to figure out how.... can't quite figure it out.. :?

He focuses on a single object, ups the time to a second or two, and then zooms in or out on the lens as the photo is being took.

Some digital cameras won't allow you to do that kinda thing.

Then wah-la- lights pop out.

At least that's my theory.

Thanks everyone!

For this shot, Replic is dead on. I used a tripod of course and set camera on manual. I believe I used an 8 sec exposure and adjust f/stop accordingly. Centered the subject and zoomed in at 70mm. After releasing the shutter, I counted to 6.5 sec and zoomed back to 35mm. I shoot a D70.
