I was at Grandmas house tonite celebrating her birthday when I found this
fungus growing on a small tree in the yard.

Also what are some good ways to add frames? I have Photoshop elements 2 and CS.

A good shot of a bracket fungi,,,I think a turkey tail.
Sorry cant help with the framing ques though.

Thank you Jack Lumber.I knew someone here would know what kind
of fungus this was.
They are going to cut the tree down soon so I wanted to get the shot
before they did.

Hi Puckhed33. You took a good shot of the fungus. You and my wife clearly have an eye for this kind of thing because she snapped exactly the same variety of fungus in Dorset, UK the other day.

I added the frame using CS2. I'm assuming CS is very similar / the same for this. I went to image -> canvas size and then picked a new size that was 3mm wider and 3mm higher with the canvas extension colour set to black. I then repeated the process and added a 1mm white extension and finally a 30mm black extension. Play with sizes to suit the look you're after.

Your wifes shots are very cool indeed. Thanks for the framing tip. I'll try it later tonite.

Here's my attempt at a frame. First try.
Thanks for the tip Flyingseale.

The framed picture looks better then the first...and you added a signature. That's one of the things I need to learn how to do.
