Bace...thats an interesting name...and I really am curious as to whether your on drugs...

No being serious, where did the name come from?

I've always been a huge fan of the low frequency known as 'bass'. Unfortunatly when written it can often be confused with a very popular game fish. I struggled to find the right name for my media company as I plan to some day branch out into other forms of media, including that of music promotion. About 2 years ago I started playing poker which I would love to also try my hand at professionally one day. Then I one day realized that "ace" is a pretty unmistakeable word. And not only that, but there's some pretty cool plays on words. "bace of clubs"; "bace of hearts" (cause the ladies love me); "bace of spades" (cause I'm constantly digging myself out of sh!t). You get the idea.

What do you think about the whole christmas feel this year?

This is actually the first year that I've ever lived alone. I'm too lazy to get get decorations, and if I put them up now, they'd stay there till next year, and consequently the year after. I love Christmas though. Will be going home with my Jewish friend for my family's holiday dinner and spending the rest of my time off chilling with her, cause no-one else will be around.

Your known as the troublemaker of the forum, however hard I try to earn the title myself...please explain your motives, and your techniques?

Hmm, that's a tough one, I never really wanted to be known as a trouble maker, I'm just an attention whore. I do it in real life too. Most people friggin hate me when they first meet me. But I always try and give everyone a little taste of something more. If they notice that it's facade, I consider them smart enough for me to be friends with. You people all seem pretty smart. Although I think JonMikal is gonna be the hardest one to turn around. I get the feeling he's already judged me and that's totally cool, just means it'll be more of a challenge to bring him around. I like challenges. I suppose I could just keep complimenting his amazing photography ()

Who is your favoret photographer, dead or alive, tpf or non tpf? explain?

I'm useless with names, but I remember seeing this picture of Lady Diana that really floored me once. Around here, I'd have to say JonMikal. All the dark architectural simitry. REALLY love that stuff. Always have. And I'm not just saying that because of the above answer either. Once I get my hands on a decent Digi, i'll be doing a lot more of that myself

What is your dream camera?

For right now, D70 or Rebel. I'm not picky. Just something that works, and that I can take thousands of shots for free.

What is your favoret camera system?

If I had my own darkroom, I'd spend hours in there. I loved doing that when I was at school. I hate using photoshop, but that's because I don't know how to use it to it's full potential. I'd much rather be capable of doing both. For now I'm pretty useless...

Where did Matt's idea of your constant pee in dress smoking raving idea come from? is there some truth to the myth?

If you google image search the word "raver" i think it's the second picture. Nothing really behind it. The first big arguement that ever went down was regarding ravers. I just happened to be defending them. When I look back at it now, I was just being difficult. I'm glad the ravers got busted by the National Guard. Stupid Hippies.

I haven't seen a lot of photographs by you and that worries me...whats your favoret specialisation? e.g. animals, studio, still life?

Right now I'm in limbo. I love taking pics, but I don't have a digital camera, and I'm not in the financial position to blow lots of cash on new film shots. Everything that I do until I get a digi is gonna be paid work. I have a few shoots lined up for the winter so look out. My preference has always been portraiture. I love abstract but see above as to why I haven't done so much of it. I like having a subject, catching the moments and expressions that define a person.

If you were offered a career in photography, but just photography and nothing else, would you take it, or would you be more interested in doing more than just photography as you stated above?

If it paid enough yeah. I'll be honest and say that I love money. It's not the most important thing to me, but if I don't make enough to do the things I want like travel, have a family, buy a home then it's not worth it. If the job included travel then yes, I would take it, but not for the rest of my life. I would try to save enough to set up shop eventually and start my own business. Ideal job; Maxim Magazine (or some equivalent). Hot women, hot destinations, great connections.

What are your views on the Digital vs Film debate?

There's a debate? I don't know, personally I think digital is great for people like myself who have never taken any schooling in photography. I really hate how digital photography has made everyone and their grandma a photographer, but at the same time, what's wrong with that? It's all art. I'll never get rid of my film camera. There's a certain authenticity to a film pic. Something more real about it. The only reason I want to get a digi is to make my photography more affordable. So I can make money at it for what it's worth.

What is your style in photography?

I think style is kinda redundant. Everytime I see a really great picture I want to be able to do that. All the pictures that I like the best seem to be dark b+w. But then I started taking pictures at large raves. Low light, lots of colours. Having said that, i've never really been a fan of nature shots and the like. Meh, to each their own.

What would you like to say to all the tpfers?

Uh. Whutsup. Don't do drugs. Specially that Matty-bass kid. And STAY IN SCHOOL! Hi terri.

What would you like to say to all those budding ravers...I mean photographers?

Keep shooting. Look up the basic rules of photography and be creative. Rules are meant to be broken, especially in photography. I know I've heard that somewhere...but I have no idea where. I'm not being original or anything.

Thank you Bace, Merry Christmas...
