I recently got a IR filter. Shooting with it satisfyingly difficult :) Shot number one is actualy my first composition with the filter. I really like how the smoke turned out. The other shots are regular old visible spectrum shots.

2 takes the cake. It's a brilliant abstract with fantastic symmetry. The others are ok in comparison.

1 and two are great!

what filter are you using?

very well done with all three, good stuff remi

Thank you all very much. :)

Treymac:

1 Is a shot of the BP cherry point refinery near Blaine Washington (The exact location is geotagged on my flickr page)

2 This was shot on the Surrey side of the Patullo bridge, the shot it's self is of the skytrain bridge next to it.

3 This was shot in Richmond near a foot path along the coast, near the tsawwassen ferry terminal.

newrmdmike:

1 Hoya Infrared R72

2 Hama Circular polarizer plus HDR

3 50mm nikkor lens, no filter

Thanks again :)

i love the first two...
#1 - i like the smoke stacks and what not sticking out through the smoke
#2 - fantastic abstract and symmetry. i really really like this one.

I like #1 and #3, but #2 is just amazing. One of the best pictures I've seen in a long time!
