Is Interfit studio Brand any good?

Hi Everybody!
I was considering seting up a home studio to take pictures of my kids, family and friends. I found a Flash Studio Kit made by Interfit including 2 lights delivering a 160W/sec each, and it comes with a softbox and an ambrella. My question is, is this set up good for people portraits? and is it a good brand?
BTW, I am using an EOS 300D with a 18-55mm EF lense and a 70-300mm EF.
it runs for about $300.

Yes it gets good reviews here in the UK but most there in the US seem to look at Alien Bees for their budget gear and it gets great reviews.

I have the Paterson Interfit STellars and absolutely them!! I am one of the few that chose something other than AB's! Plus, they have fantastic customer service!
