Is my photoshop elements breaking?

I view my raw file in photoshop elements 4 in the organisor, then when i select standard edit I get this message: The styles file is bad or corrupted the picture comes up and I make my adjustments then hit ok, so I can get to standard edit and I get the message again, everythig seems to be working, but I figure this can not be a good sign, anyone have any ideas?

Maybe try a reinstall.

thats what I was trying to avoid, I know my disc is somewhere here, but Im not the most organised person in the world:blushing:

If I reinstall what happens to my pics in the organisor, do they just stay in the windows my pictures folder that they are asigned too?

If you reinstall (rather than uninstall then install) then all settings should remain set - your files should stay where they are.
An uninstall and install should also yeald the same result - but I have never done this and there might be a quirk here
