Is my Sony DSC F717 Broken?

Hi,

My dad has this camera and he does not speak english...so he asked me to ask you guys for an opinion...no matter in what mode he takes a picture it still doesnt work properly! Did anyone experience the same problem yet?

I don't think that camera has a mechanical shutter...so that's isn't the problem.

It looks like too fast of a shutter speed used with flash...but again...if it does have a mechanical shutter...then that's not right.

Might just be that the camera's sensor is shot....I don't know, sorry.
