Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
i have a minolta point and shoot camera i found in the basement. has an auto focus and flash. theres not much else that looks special about it. would it even be worth it to use a roll on it? ive just been dieing to take some film pictures.

why not, give it a try and see what happens. It will be a nice adventure.

If the camera works well, go for it! You can have fun being creative with those lil' cameras. When I go out with my cameras, there's always a point and shoot of one kind or other along with the SLRs. They can be handy to have around.
A couple of good things about those cameras is that they can help you develop an eye and technique plus they're so light weight that you're lightest tri-pod can handle them easily. Depending on the model, you can pretty well load any type of film you choose in it so you can do some experimenting with different types of film.
Hope you enjoy using the Minolta!

thanks for the input. im taking in the film tomorrow, ill post pictures when its done. i also plan to try some photo destroying techniques, like soaking in salt water. might even experiment with fire. is film really flammable?

Yes film is flammable, not as much as in the old days, when it would go up in flames on it's own.

im just going to try a quick streak or two over a lighter and see how it does

i didn't have any photos back from the store yet. i'm using this for now. I'ts some action sampler photos

photos are back from the store, only 4 showed up on the negs. is there something im doing wrong? it seems no matter what i do, my pics never show up

First off, I'll assume that your camera batteries are fresh and up to snuff. Are you over exposing or under exposing? An under exposed negative will be brighter than an over exposed negative.
Dumb question. When you destroy your film, when do you do it? Before or after exposure? That may also have a bearing on how your pics turn out.

i always apply after i get the negatives back. I guess most of them look under exposed, because most of them look like a blank tinted yellow.

finally got something back from the store thats ok. I think under exposure was my problem
