Is this the Canon EOS 35D?

Article over at http://www.engadget.com claims to have some linked pics to an upcomign Canon 35D to be announced in Oslo on the 21st of Februrary.

This is good news for me because I am currently looking at the D50, D70, 350D and 20D and can not make up my mind. This release will either add a new model to the mix or help drive down costs of at least one of the models I am currently looking at.

That is one of the photos that has been circulating the camera forums lately. Who knows if it's real? There are always some people looking to stir the pot by making fake photos.

The New model, if there is one, will be announced at the PMA show in Orlando http://www.pma-show.com/

Although, it's a world-wide announcement so sometimes it leaks out early from other locations.

I don't know about this. First of all there is only one really small picture available. The battery grip looks like it was photoshopped on and is a totally different shade of black (and to small for the camera). The camera also has a EF-S 17-85mm, but that would assume that canon's new 35d had a sensor with a conversion factor of 1.6x. It looks exactly the same as the 20d, and if you look fo any pics of the 20d taken by canon for adverstisting or whatever, they have the exact same lens on in the same position.
