ISS Fly-Over

Very nice.

I was quite surprised at how quick it comes into view then races right back out within a couple of minutes.
Yeah, it hauls!
I only had minutes to leave for my night job when it was to pass almost directly overhead- 84 deg, so I had my car running and tripods pre-positioned in my front yard with Pentax KP's, an 8mm, and a 15mmLtd mounted. The one with the 8mm I accidentally had set for 1/30 sec instead of 30 sec

but managed to get these 3 shots with the 15mm @ f4, 20 sec

And I made it to the office on time :icon_biggrin:

Nice set. We all do silly things when we're rushed. A couple weeks back I lit out like a mad man to take pictures and when I got to my destination a couple miles away I discovered I'd forgotten to bring my camera with me ... DERP! :stupid: (a first) I'm so glad I've learned to laugh at myself.

If that was the 1800 pass Friday night, I also saw it. Very bright from here in VA where it was an especially clear night.

Yes it was! I believe that was the brightest I've ever seen it.
