Love the lighting but the subject is very boring. to mee it needs some movement because ceiling fans spin. Obviously this creates some problems (slow shutter speed when taking a picture of a light source usually means overexposure) so you could try to stop down the aperture to the minimum, f22 or higher, and make sure you are using the lowest ISO. For a fan on full speed you really only need like 1/100 or so to get some movement, 1/40 gets a nice smooth look.
