That is a beautiful pic. I have roses in my garden too but nothing looks remotely like this. I like the contrast between the dark green/blue background and the tender colors of the rose

I shot this at 5:00 am, by 7:30 it was fully open except for the very center. Timing is critical with this bush. You're either there or... too bad!

Right, so that cements the fact that I'll never get a shot like this! The only way I'm up at 5am is if I haven't gone to bed yet, and ususally then I'm in no condition to be operating a camera.
