This was taken the other week, as a big storm headed over Sydney. It actually ended up causing a serious amount of damage - and i got drenched...

Oh my god. Those clouds look downright FIERCE! How well you captured their texture!

Thank you! I really had no choice, as they were so tangible.. Very much like "the Nothing", if you've ever seen The Never Ending Story.

Those are called mammtus clouds. here is a few mor examples... (These are extreme cases)

I can't say I have ever seen any mammatus clouds with my own eyes before. They look menacing!!!What do they bring mainly? Rain? Or is an electric storm in them? Hail? What do they carry?
