There is nothing there to give us its size perspective, should've thrown down a coin or such.

That's the point, there's no perspective and it looks huge. There's lots of things I could have done to give it perspective: greater dof, some kind of reference item, zoom out a little to see more of the scene, but the point was to make it look giant.

I think that it is a wonderful picture. I REALLY like the comp. The flower in the background is just a lovely touch.
